The Brünofix company was founded in 1905 in Leipzig, Germany. At first, mainly chemicals for the burnishing process were developed, optimized and sold. Then the manufacture of baths as well as the production of chemicals for the phosphatising process was added. After the end of the World War II the head office was moved first to Nuremberg, then to Rednitzhembach, 20 kilometers away.
Since 1970, DeWe Brünofix has designed and has sold complete units for chemical surface treatment and also has offered burnishing and phosphatising processes as a service in our own completely automatic treatment plants.

The production spectrum today includes over 300 products concerned with the processes of degreasing, pickling, burnishing, phosphatising, corrosion protection and colouring agents for stainless steel, brass, copper, nickel silver and diecast zinc.

Our sister company Weiss Umformwerkzeuge (Weiss Forming Dies) GmbH, based in the same industrial site, has manufactured die casting tools for over 40 years for a worldwide customer base.
Refinishing in the fields of CNC milling, diesinking EDM and wire-cut EDM, as well as CAD/CAM programming, are also among their business activities.
