General: the DEWE Brünofix GmbH Cold colouring process consists of 4 components:
Alkalit degreasing / cleaning
|
degreasing mechanically clinging grease, oils and dirt particles, dust or working residues |
Neutralising
|
any residues of the cold colouring clinging to the surface are neutralised by dipping in the Alkalit solution |
Rostalit pickling / derusting descaling |
removal of inorganic corrosion, tarnish or other coatings bonded to the underlying metal |
Cold colouring black finishing
|
producing a black surface by chemical reaction of underlying material with cold colouring |
Fluid IV 5196 dewatering corrosion protection |
removal of adhering water film and application of a thin anticorrosion film
|
Suitable for: iron, steel and cast materials
Operating sequence: a dipping process is used

Bath material: synthetic (polyproylene)we supply synthetic baths for individual and complete solutions
Safetey: the saftey fact-sheet for the products must pe respected
Procedure: working materials with chemicals adhering to them must be kept away from food, drink and foodstuffs.
Health & safetey: suitable protective clothing must be worn.
Safetey measures: eyes and skin must be protected (protective goggles and gloves)
Tip for waste disposal: for small users we make available free 30 l plastic canisters suitable for collecting flushing water and product residues. We also offer all customers support and advice on waste disposal.
